Vaginal Tamoxifen May Reduce Pain

This double-blind randomized placebo-controlled trial found that weekly vaginal tamoxifen was associated with reduced anxiety scores and clinically meaningful pain reduction in postmenopausal women with genitourinary syndrome of menopause. The results are promising for quality of life, but additional research is needed to clarify mechanisms, systemic effects, and broader benefits.
