Prunes May Modestly Support Bones

This systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized studies found preliminary evidence that 50-100 grams of prunes may modestly benefit lumbar spine bone mineral density, especially in postmenopausal women. The evidence remains limited and heterogeneous, so prunes are best viewed as a possible nutrition support rather than a stand-alone bone-protection strategy.
