This systematic review and meta-analysis found that ethnicity, education, income, depression, smoking, and obesity were associated with the presence or severity of vasomotor symptoms and vaginal dryness. The results reinforce that hot flashes and related symptoms are shaped by both biology and lifestyle context, supporting more personalized symptom management.
