Meta-Analysis
Nonhormonal Options May Improve Menopause Insomnia
This systematic review and meta-analysis found that nonpharmacological approaches, especially cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia and calming practices such as acupuncture, yoga, and massage, appeared to improve sleep measures in peri- and postmenopausal women. The findings support starting with structured behavioral and lifestyle-based sleep strategies while reserving medication decisions for individualized clinical guidance.
