New Non-Hormonal Therapy Elinzanetant Effectively Reduces Late Perimenopause Hot Flashes

An indirect comparison network meta-analysis revealed that the novel dual neurokinin-targeted therapy elinzanetant was more effective than desvenlafaxine, gabapentin, and paroxetine in reducing hot flash frequency. It also outperformed other treatments in improving sleep disturbances, positioning it as a promising non-hormonal option for managing moderate-to-severe vasomotor symptoms during late perimenopause.
