Low Estradiol Linked to Severe Migraines in Perimenopause
A case-control study found that perimenopausal women experiencing new-onset migraines have significantly lower estradiol levels, which correlate with higher pain severity. These women also reported more frequent perimenopausal symptoms like fatigue, sleep disturbance, and anxiety compared to healthy controls.
