Cohort Study
Large Danish Cohort Maps Early Postmenopause Symptoms
The KISO cohort enrolled 153,800 women in Denmark and includes 8,314 participants classified as early postmenopausal, creating a large foundation for tracking symptom patterns, quality of life, activity, and work productivity across stages. Its planned 15-year follow-up may clarify long-term changes, but this cohort-profile paper does not test a treatment or establish symptom causes.
