Clinical Trial
Herbal Supplement Improves Sleep, Fatigue, and Mood in Perimenopause
This 28-day randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial found that Khapregesic® (Khaya senegalensis) supplementation significantly improved psychological symptoms, fatigue, and sleep disturbances in postmenopausal women compared to placebo. While no group-wide effects were observed across the full cohort, subgroup analyses suggest this herbal preparation may offer a safe, well-tolerated option for managing common early perimenopause symptoms including mood changes, fatigue, and sleep disruption.
