Herbal Supplement Improves Sleep and Mood in Postmenopausal Women
A 28-day randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of 140 peri- and postmenopausal women found that Khapregesic® (Khaya senegalensis) supplementation significantly improved psychological symptoms, fatigue, and sleep disturbances compared to placebo in the postmenopausal subgroup. While no overall group effect was detected across the full cohort, the subgroup findings suggest this herbal preparation may offer targeted benefits for early perimenopause-related mood and sleep disruption.
