Exercise May Ease Depression During Perimenopause
A meta-analysis of 21 randomized trials involving 1,398 Chinese perimenopausal women found that exercise interventions reduced depressive symptoms versus control conditions. Because results varied substantially between studies and publication bias was possible, the review cannot identify an optimal exercise prescription.
