Meta-Analysis
Exercise Has Mixed Sleep Benefits During Menopause
This meta-analysis of randomized trials found that physical activity did not meaningfully improve overall sleep quality or insomnia in women with hot flashes and night sweats, though small improvements in sleep problems were observed. Exercise remains important for broader menopausal health, but sleep plans may need to be tailored by activity type, timing, intensity, and symptom pattern.
