Elevated FSH Links Postmenopausal Bone Loss and Cognitive Decline
Emerging evidence indicates that rising follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels during the menopausal transition play a critical independent role in both osteoporosis and Alzheimer's disease risk. Pre-clinical and population studies suggest that targeting FSH signaling could provide a novel therapeutic approach to simultaneously address late postmenopausal bone loss and cognitive aging.
