Meta-Analysis
Combined Exercise Modalities Superior for Postmenopausal Bone Density
This extensive network meta-analysis found that combining mind-body exercise with resistance training (MBEx_Re) was the most effective modality for improving bone mineral density at multiple skeletal sites in postmenopausal women. Interventions lasting 52 weeks or longer produced the most consistent and sustained improvements, offering clear guidance for exercise prescriptions to prevent osteoporotic fractures in late postmenopause.
