Meta-Analysis
CO2 Laser and Vaginal Estrogen Show Similar Effectiveness for Vaginal Dryness and Sexual Health.
A systematic review and meta-analysis found no statistically significant difference between CO2 fractional laser therapy and vaginal estrogen for treating genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), including vaginal dryness, sexual function, and urinary symptoms. Both treatments are effective options, and choice should be guided by patient preference and clinical context.
