Brain Fog May Not Match Test Scores
This systematic review and meta-analysis found only a small association between self-reported cognitive concerns and objective learning-efficiency measures during peri- and postmenopause. For women experiencing brain fog, the evidence reinforces that symptoms are real but may need better assessment tools than standard cognitive tests alone.
